Lesson 11/12 - Developing final ideas & Shooting adverts
In this lesson we again started off my storyboarding the other 2 ideas in which we would use for our adverts. The first of the ideas was that of having someone not being able to decide what they would have a snack either a chocolate bar or a cookie. Then someone offers him this new bar called "Hal-Way" in which has both of the ingredients. The last idea was that of a silent advert with a person acting out as if they were hungry and along came someone to offer him a "half-way" bar so that he could continue his day. In this lesson we managed to shot the 1st & 2nd idea which we will upload next lesson to edit and add effects.
Lesson 9/10
In these lessons our class were given a task in which we would have to plan out and shoot 3 adverts for a new kind of bar. In my group we discussed first of all the name of the chocolate bar which would be called "Half-Way". We then decided to focus on the packaging of the bar which would be half chocolate & half cookie. Once this was complete, we began to storyboard one of the ideas for one particular advert. We came up with the idea of having both a chocolate bar & cookie which we would smash into one another to then produce the half way bar which we had made. This advert would be the shortest of the adverts only lasting from 15-20 seconds.
Lesson 8 - Editing "The Phone Call" & Adding Title Sequence
In today's lesson we continue to edit our video entitled "The Phone Call" in which we added a title sequence to the video to name the actors and the title of the video. We also added some effects to intensify the drama of the video. These were speeding up the video & introducing fade into the video.
