Lesson 1 - Introduction Into A2 Media Coursework

In today's lesson I was introduced into A2 media coursework. I was told that during the course I would be creating a music video, movie trailer and a documentary.I was also told that 2 addition tasks will have to be completed but this will depend on what I chose to use as my coursework (music video or film trailer) My teacher clearly set out a number of skills that would need to develop during the coursework which are

• being able to hold a steady shot
• framing a shot appropriately 
• using various shot distances
• selecting mise en scene - colour, figure, lighting, objects & settings
• editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer
• using a variety of transitions
• using sound with images and editing appropriately
